This year will be our 51st year of supporting our wonderful communities - thanks to our incredible employee supporters and their friends and families. Take a look at our event opportunities below, and see if any of our money raising missions take your fundraising fancy this year. Falkirk Wheel Abseil - Friday 15 March

Abseil 100ft off the world’s first, and only, rotating boat lift, enjoying spectacular views from the top of the wheel and an adrenaline rush as you abseil down.

No experience necessary - expert guidance will be provided throughout.

Restrictions: At least 11 years old to take part, with written permission from an adult if under 16. Under 18 stone 9 lbs in weight.

Birmingham Abseil - Friday 10 May (TBC)

Do you have the courage to abseil 100 feet down Birmingham’s iconic Custard Factory?

You’ll enjoy unique views of Selfridges, the Bullring and the Birmingham city centre skyline and your fundraising will make a huge difference to our charity partners.

RideLondon – Essex 100 - Sunday 26 May

A celebration of all things cycling, Ford RideLondon-Essex 100 will next take place on Sunday 26 May 2024 and is ideal for those seeking a tough but achievable challenge. The spectacular event will see cyclists of all backgrounds and abilities cover 100 miles on traffic-free roads through the heart of London and neighbouring Essex – and we hope you'll be there to join us for the ride.

ArcelorMittal Orbit Abseil - Thursday 27 June (TBC)

The UK’s highest freefall abseil from the UK’s tallest sculpture is the adrenaline-fuelled way to see London at 262 feet above the city.
On your decent, you'll be able to take in breath-taking views across London, including iconic buildings such as The Gherkin, St. Pauls, Wembley Stadium, and the world-famous sporting venues of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Zipslide the Clyde - Friday 13 September

A unique and thrilling way to see Glasgow's city while raising money for ZCT!

This is a 100ft high and 1000ft long challenge, launching off from a crane next to the stunning Glasgow Riverside Museum!!!

Restrictions: Over 10 years old (10-16 years old must have parent consent) Over 25kg (3.9 stone) in weight and under 110kg (17.3 stone)

Great South Run - Sunday 20 October

Are you passionate about putting yourself through your paces?

Join us in Europe's leading 10-mile race in Southsea, Portsmouth. The course is fast and flat, with fantastic crowds and music to keep you going. You'll enjoy brilliant views of the Isle of Wight, as you finish along the coast!

2025 TCS London Marathon - Sunday 27 April

Take on one of the world's most famous marathons. Imagine getting cheered on through 26.2 miles of crowd lined streets, past some of London's most iconic landmarks – the energy and atmosphere to keep you going really make this a marathon you'll never forget.
