Gather your Challenge troops and take a look at the projects available for you to pick from this year. Local charities in the Cardiff area can't wait to invite you back for some DIY make-over magic, valuable virtual ventures, or some good old fashioned party planning!
Our five different project categories are displayed below. Each challenge will be marked with the icon most relevant to that particular project.
For each project we're providing up to £500 towards costs, so no fundraising required!

CARD3 A Courtyard Transformation!
The Challenge 
The charity would like a small team to freshen up the enclosed courtyard at their Cardiff premises. It is a very small space that a team could easily improve by cleaning, de-weeding, and then repainting the walls. The addition of a recycling store to hide the bins, wooden planters, and wall/window boxes to display a variety of shrubs and bedding plants would really help to brighten the space. Project photos >
4Winds User Led Association
4Winds is an independent user led mental health charity working to improve mental health and wellbeing in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. They have been providing a range of accessible, person centred mental health support services since 1997, helping people work towards recovery and achieve positive outcomes.

CARD4 A Simple Thank You!
The Challenge 
City Hospice is extremely fortunate to have the support of around 250 volunteers. They simply couldn't be more grateful for all the support they receive and would love to be able to provide a small thank you! Use your imagination to supply them with small thank you gifts, which this year could be branded merchandise, such as a pen or car sticker. The hospice can distribute the gifts to the volunteers.

City Hospice is at the heart of Cardiff, providing medical, nursing and end of life care to patients, as well as support to their families.
Team size = Small (<6)
CARD5 A Voucher Cwtch!
The Challenge
The charity would like you to provide a selection of vouchers to supplement the contents of Grief Care Packages they give to their bereaved clients and families. These could be for restaurants, the cinema, or experience vouchers. You could even mix it up and get five or six of each!
Jacob Abraham Foundation
The Jacob Abraham Foundation is a mental health/suicide prevention charity. Bereavement support is one strand to the charity, however, they also deliver training to the community to raise awareness of suicide and to eradicate stigma. In addition to supporting vulnerable individuals with suicidal and self harm ideations, they provide these people with crisis counselling to ensure their safety is maintained.
Team size = Small (<6)
CARD6 BBQ or Picnic Summer Fun!
The Challenge 
The charity would like a team to help organise and run a summer event for their bereaved families. They would like to host a fun outdoor event, with a BBQ or picnic food, that would benefit everyone attending and give them an event to look forward to. The charities preference for this event is that it happens on a weekend, but they would appreciate any help and support to make it happen and would discuss and agree alternative dates with the team if you take on this Challenge!

CARD8 Cardiff Summer Fun!
The Challenge
The charity would love a team to help them with a summer event, or day out, such as a picnic in the park, bowling, or a cinema trip, for around 20 of the people they support in Cardiff. Can you and your team organise an event to give them something to look forward to?
